Small selkie follows Skye, a young girl dealing with loss but equipped with a vivid imagination, as she ventures to save the world.

One day while walking the local beach with her father, she stumbles upon a selkie (mermaid), struggling to breath, her tail wrapped in trash that has washed up on the shore with her. Skye suddenly sees the enormity of the problem, one of which she is a part of, and vows to positively impact the world, starting now.
